The Jaecoo J7 AWD Individual is currently the lowest-priced C-segment SUV with four-wheel drive available in Vietnam.

On 1st November 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam introduced the AWD Individual variant of the J7 to domestic customers.

This is the third variant of the C-segment SUV, offered alongside the Flagship and Flagship PHEV variants.

In the Vietnamese market, the J7 AWD Individual has a starting price of VND 849 million (US$ 32,530). The other two variants are priced at VND 799 million and VND 969 million.

Throughout November 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam will offer a price of VND 799 million for the first 50 customers who purchase the J7 AWD Individual.

In comparison with four-wheel-drive variants of rival models in the same segment, such as the Honda CR-V L AWD, Kia Sportage 1.6-litre Turbo Signature AWD, Hyundai Tucson 1.6-litre Turbo, and Mazda CX-5 2.5-litre Signature, the J7 AWD Individual is priced lower.

The Honda CR-V AWD is currently priced at VND 1.25 billion, while the Mazda CX-5 2.5-litre Signature ranges from VND 959 million to VND 979 million, the Kia Sportage 1.6-litre Turbo Signature AWD is priced at VND 994 million, and the Hyundai Tucson 1.6-litre Turbo at VND 979 million.

In terms of design, the J7 AWD Individual retains the same styling as the other two variants of this C-segment SUV, but adds a new exterior colour option called Jungle Green, along with Carbon Black, Diamond White, and Moonlight Silver.

This variant is equipped with a permanent all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The J7 AWD Individual is a completely built-up imported model from China and uses the same 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine as the Flagship variant. The engine produces 183 PS and 275 Nm of torque, with power sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The J7 AWD Individual has a ground clearance of 186 mm, an approach angle of 21 degrees, a departure angle of 29 degrees, and a wading depth of 600 mm.

According to Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam, these figures are the highest in the C-segment SUV category.
