Rolls-Royce launches Ghost Extended Series II

The latest Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Series II has been introduced in the Hong Kong market with updates in design, technology, and driving dynamics.
The design of the Ghost Extended Series II retains Rolls-Royce's characteristic styling, with modifications to certain details. The updated LED headlight set, featuring an added galaxy lighting effect (illuminated fascia), changes the vehicle's appearance at night. The body lines have been adjusted for a more streamlined look, and a new wheel design has been introduced.
It is powered by a 6.75-litre V12 twin-turbocharged engine, producing 563ps and 850Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Despite its extended body, the vehicle is designed to provide a smooth ride. The Rolls-Royce Planar suspension system, combined with predictive suspension adjustment technology, aims to improve ride comfort.
One of the key features of the Ghost Extended Series II is its noise reduction system, developed by Rolls-Royce. The brand has implemented "quietness balance" technology, designed to create an optimised acoustic environment rather than complete silence.
It is designed for both owners who prefer to drive and those who require a chauffeur-driven vehicle. Compared to the Phantom, the Ghost has a more restrained design.
The introduction of the Ghost Extended Series II further expands the brand's presence in the luxury saloon segment. The vehicle's noise reduction and comfort features may appeal to those who frequently undertake long journeys.
However, its length of over 5.7 metres may present challenges on Hong Kong's narrow streets and in confined parking spaces. The Rolls-Royce "Spirit of Ecstasy" emblem remains a distinguishing feature of the vehicle.
The Ghost Extended Series II is positioned as a high-end saloon for buyers who prioritise specific materials and features. For those who find the S-Class or 7 Series unsuitable for their requirements, this model provides an alternative.
