MG7 receives dealer discounts, offering competitive prices
Autopro.com.vn, 23 Sep '24
The fact that the MG7 is entitled to incentives is not the company's policy but entirely the decision of the dealer.
The newly launched MG7 has been offered at discounted rates.
Although it was only launched on August 28th, the MG7 has already been subject to preferential pricing by dealers. Specifically, a dealer in Hanoi is reducing the price of the MG7 1.5T Luxury by VND 51 million (US$ 2,070), lowering the selling price from VND 739 million to VND 688 million. The MG7 2.0T Premium version is reduced by VND 60 million, bringing the price down from VND 1.018 billion to VND 958 million. Meanwhile, the 2.0T Luxury version does not receive the same offer.
With the incentives applied, the starting price of the MG7 is now as affordable as C-class sedans, such as the Mazda3 1.5-litre Premium (VND 699 million) or the Hyundai Elantra 2.0 AT Premium (VND 699 million). However, the MG7's main competitors in the Vietnamese market are the Mazda6, priced between VND 769 million and VND 899 million, and the Kia K5, priced between VND 859 million and VND 999 million.
It is not uncommon for MG car models to be discounted shortly after launch. However, the case of the MG7 has still surprised many people.
