Hyundai starts accepting bookings for all-new Palisade ahead of launch

Following its global debut in late 2024, the new-generation Hyundai Palisade entered the Vietnam market.
Some dealerships have begun accepting deposits for this E-segment SUV, with a booking fee of VND 10 million (US$ 380), and are indicating a launch timeline around the third quarter of 2026.
Hyundai Thanh Cong has not officially confirmed this timeline.
The 2026 Palisade has a revised design compared with the current version available in Vietnam. The styling is more squared-off. Dimensions have increased, with the overall length extended by 65 mm and the wheelbase by 70 mm, resulting in additional cabin space across all three rows.
At the front, the vehicle features a large grille with thick horizontal slats. The headlamp cluster and LED daytime running lights are arranged vertically in a layered layout, aligned with the rear light design.
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Palisade includes a redesigned steering wheel and a continuous dashboard layout. The display system consists of a fully digital instrument cluster integrated with a central touchscreen, both measuring 12.3 inches. The 7-seat version includes a second row with individual armrests, power adjustment, and massage functions.
The vehicle is equipped with a 14-speaker Bose sound system, Qi wireless charging, and 100W USB-C ports capable of charging laptops. It also includes an AI-integrated voice command system.
In international markets, the vehicle is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 218 PS. A hybrid variant is available, delivering a combined output of up to 334 PS, with an average fuel consumption of approximately 7.69 litres/100 km.
In Vietnam, the current model continues to be equipped with a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 200 PS and 440 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an HTRAC all-wheel-drive system. It remains unclear whether the distributor will introduce the hybrid powertrain or continue offering the diesel engine.
Despite its listed price (VND 1.469 billion - VND 1.589 billion) and dealership incentives, the model has not recorded a significant increase in sales.
