The 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has arrived in Nepal with several sought-after updates.
Distributed by HH Bajaj, the authorised distributor for Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, the latest NS200 offers enhanced features that elevate its appeal in terms of design, performance, and overall value.
The Pulsar NS200 retains its aggressive styling, featuring a muscular fuel tank and distinctive 3D Pulsar branding. The latest iteration boasts updated paintwork and graphics, giving it a refreshed appearance. The inclusion of LED lighting elements improves visibility during night rides and adds a modern touch compared to the previous halogen setup.
The most notable design upgrade is the new all-digital instrument cluster, replacing the older semi-digital version. The 2024 model is available in Pearl White and Ebony Black, while older variants come in Red, White, Grey, and Blue.
The Pulsar NS200 comes in two engine configurations: Fuel Injection (FI) and Carburettor. Both are powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, triple-spark, liquid-cooled DTS-I engine.
- FI Variant: Produces 24.5 PS at 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm.
- Carburettor Variant: Generates 23.5 PS at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It is BS4-compliant.
Both versions come with a 6-speed gearbox and a 12-litre fuel tank, making them capable performers in their segment.
- The bike's suspension setup includes a 33 mm USD telescopic fork at the front and a Nitrox mono-shock at the rear, replacing the traditional telescopic fork of previous models.
- It offers a 168 mm ground clearance and a kerb weight ranging from 152 kg to 158 kg, depending on the variant.
- Tyre dimensions are 100/80 52P at the front and 130/70 62P at the rear. However, the bike still lacks a rear radial tyre.
- Braking is handled by dual discs - 300 mm at the front and 230 mm at the rear - with the choice between single-channel and dual-channel ABS.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is available in multiple variants in Nepal:
1. Non-ABS (Carburettor)
2. ABS (Carburettor) with single-channel ABS.
3. BS6 Single-Channel ABS (FI)
4. BS6 Dual-Channel ABS (FI)
