Triumph Street Triple 765 RX, Trident 800 launched

Didi Group has expanded Triumph Malaysia's middleweight portfolio with the launch of the Triumph Street Triple 765 RX and the all-new Triumph Trident 800.
The new Special Edition RX builds on the Street Triple RS platform with track-oriented upgrades and available for one year only. It is fitted with fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 front suspension, offering separate compression and rebound damping, preload adjustment and 115mm of travel for sharper front-end feedback.
Clip-on handlebars replace the RS's one-piece bar, delivering a more aggressive riding position. Further upgrades on the RX include a precision-machined top yoke, laser-etched RX branding on the silencer and a bespoke RX seat.
The Matt Aluminium Silver finish on this model is, contrasted with a Diablo Red subframe and wheels. The pricing starts at MYR 81,100 (US$ 20,790), excluding registration and insurance.
Meanwhile, the new Trident 800 introduces a 798 cc triple with triple throttle bodies, tuned for strong mid-range torque and responsive top-end performance. It weighs at 198 kg fully fuelled with a lightweight chassis and adjustable Showa suspension plus Michelin tyres for agile and better handling.
Rider aids on this new machine include three riding modes, lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, plus cruise control and My Triumph Bluetooth connectivity via a TFT dash.
The Trident 800 is priced from MYR 53,900 (US$ 13,820) excluding registration and insurance which comers in Ash Grey, Carnival Red and Jet Black, all with gold wheels.
Triumph Malaysia has also introduced a Jet Black-only Triumph Trident 800 Special Edition priced at MYR 56,900 (US$ 14,590) excluding registration and insurance.
The first 30 units come fitted with an Akrapovič exhaust, cowl seat and bar-end mirrors. Thereafter, the SE retains the Akrapovič exhaust and bar-end mirrors as standard, with the cowl seat offered as a Purchase With Purchase option at MYR 850.
Early buyers will also receive a complimentary genuine Triumph jacket, while stocks last. Customers can experience the new Triumph Street Triple 765 RX and Trident 800 at all authorised Triumph dealerships nationwide, with test rides available from now.
