Gogoro Jego has been launched in Nepal.
Nebula Energy will serve as the official distributor of Gogoro scooters in Nepal.
Gogoro plans to introduce two new models to the Nepali market, one of which is the Gogoro Jego.
The Gogoro Jego features an eye-catching design and is available in a variety of vibrant colour options.
From the side, the large leg rest compartment is immediately noticeable, offering ample space to accommodate 28-inch luggage.
The extended seats are well-cushioned, providing a comfortable riding experience, and the overall ergonomics are thoughtfully designed.
At the rear, the minimalist theme continues with a grab rail and a low-mounted taillight, maintaining the scooter's sleek profile.
Jego's appeal is further enhanced by its wide range of colour options, including Red, Yellow, Blue, Grey, and White.
The Gogoro Jego is powered by a 2.4 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), delivering a maximum power of 3.4 PS and a peak torque of 100 Nm.
Gogoro smart scooters are designed with innovative swappable battery technology, allowing riders to easily replace a low battery with a fully charged one in a matter of minutes.
The Jego is available with single and dual battery options and features two power modes: Normal and Low Energy.
Suspension duties are handled by dual telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.
The scooter's dimensions are 1,870 mm in length, 695 mm in width, and 1,280 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,345 mm.
The Jego weighs 86 kg without batteries and 96 kg with batteries. It also offers 22 litres of under-seat storage.
The official price of the Gogoro Jego in Nepal starts at NPR 230,000 (US$ 1,710).
Nebula has opened its first showroom at Naxal, Kathmandu, where it has launched two models: the Gogoro Jego and the Gogoro Pulse Ultra.
Additionally, Nebula is moving forward with an ambitious plan to establish 45 battery-swapping stations across the Kathmandu valley, strategically placing them every 2-3 km for maximum convenience.
Pricing is based on the energy used, calculated by the Ampere-hour (Ah) rate, ensuring that each plan is tailored to the user's specific travel and energy requirements.
