Sojitz Fuso Philippines and Centro Manufacturing have introduced two new commercial vehicle models: the F-resh Ref Van and the F-lift Crane Truck.
The unveiling brought together company executives, dealers, business partners and customers, as both companies highlighted their ongoing technical collaboration in the local transport and logistics sector.
The F-resh Ref Van is built on the Fuso Canter platform and is compatible with the FE71, FE73, FE84 and FE85 variants.
It features Centro Nippon Fruehauf Cooltech's updated C-Temp cooling system, which incorporates improved insulation and refined airflow management to maintain stable temperatures in demanding conditions. The system enables the refrigerated van to support food distributors, pharmaceutical logistics and other temperature-sensitive operations.
The F-lift Crane Truck is based on the Fuso Canter FE85 chassis.
It integrates a Tadano TM-ZE 290 crane with a telescopic boom rated to carry loads of up to three tons. The crane includes outriggers, a load indicator system and centralized controls, making the unit suitable for construction firms, utilities and light industrial use.
During the launch event, the company's President and Chief Executive outlined ongoing work to develop functional, business-focused commercial vehicle solutions for the local market.
The executive noted that both the F-resh Ref Van and F-lift Crane Truck were created in response to logistics, construction and cold-chain requirements.
A representative from Centro Manufacturing Corporation discussed the engineering aspects of the two units, explaining that Centro focused on truck body development, particularly in aligning structural designs with Fuso's platform.
The official noted that both models underwent extensive testing intended to meet the routine demands of enterprises managing temperature-sensitive goods and construction lifting operations. The launch marks another joint project between Fuso and Centro.
Both companies stated that they plan to continue developing commercial vehicles that address the needs of local logistics and transport businesses.
