Jetour, one of the brands under the Chery Group, will enter the Australian market in 2027, with local trademark filings indicating additional models that could join its planned line-up.

The brand has previously confirmed that it will introduce the T1 and T2 SUVs, along with the body-on-frame G700 large SUV and F700 dual-cab ute (pick-up truck).

Trademark filings reported by IP Australia between July 27th and August 4th, 2026, also include the S06, TX, T8, T600 and T700. The filings indicate that Jetour could offer a wider range of SUVs in Australia, although they do not confirm that these models will be launched locally.

The T700 could be an alternative name for the G700 to avoid a potential trademark challenge from Mercedes-Benz, which sells the G-Class. Similarly, the T600 could be an alternative name for the upcoming G600 off-road SUV.

The S06 is also known as the Dashing and is sold by Jetour in export markets such as the Middle East. In some markets, it is badged as the Soueast S06, with Soueast being a sister brand under the Chery Group that focuses on lower-priced vehicles and has been considered for a potential Australian launch.

Launched in 2022, the Dashing mid-size SUV measures 4,600mm long, 1,900mm wide and 1,685mm tall, with a 2,720mm wheelbase, making it similar in size to the Toyota RAV4. It is available with a 115 kW/230 Nm turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Although similar in size to the T1 planned for Australia, it has a different exterior design.

The TX and T8 are newer models and were revealed at this year's Auto China motor show in Beijing. The TX was initially shown in concept form and subsequently appeared in production guise in a Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filing under the Huanyouzhe nameplate.

Measuring 4,475mm long, 1,880mm wide and 1,700mm tall, with a 2,735mm wheelbase, the new EV is positioned between the small Jaecoo J5 and mid-size Geely EX5 SUVs in terms of dimensions. The Huanyouzhe is offered with either a single 200 kW electric motor or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain comprising 75 kW front and 200 kW rear electric motors.

The T8 is a larger three-row SUV. While official details remain limited, the company has stated that it will offer a pure-electric range of more than 300 km. It is understood to measure more than five metres long, with a three-metre wheelbase, and feature a turbocharged petrol plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The Australian trademark filings indicate that Jetour's potential local line-up could extend beyond the T1, T2, G700 and F700 to include medium and large SUVs, as well as large ladder-frame off-road SUVs and utes.

Jetour vehicles will be distributed separately from other Chery Group brands, including Chery, Omoda & Jaecoo, and the upcoming Lepas, Freelander and iCaur marques. In a Chinese press release translated into English, the brand referred to itself as "the pioneer and global populariser of the boxy SUV category" and "China's global champion of boxy SUVs".
