Geely Motor takes direct control of brand operations nationwide

Geely Motor Philippines (GMP), a newly established subsidiary of Geely Auto International, has officially assumed full responsibility for all business operations related to the Geely brand in the Philippine market.
This shift from a general distributor model to direct operations means that GMP will now manage all aspects of the Geely brand in the country, including sales, marketing, customer service, and after-sales support.
The adoption of a direct operation model offers several advantages:
- Closer alignment with market demand: GMP will gain a better understanding of the specific needs of the Philippine market, enabling the provision of products and services that align with consumer expectations.

The Philippine automotive market is undergoing significant changes, with growing demand for electric and intelligent vehicles. In response to this trend, GMP plans a major update of its line-up in the first quarter of 2025.
In addition to existing models, GMP will introduce several new vehicles throughout the year.
This expansion will include a range of powertrains, such as Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Hybrids, and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), to meet the diverse needs of Filipino consumers.
GMP will also establish a dealership network under the direct operation model, aiming to provide a consistent service experience for all customers. This approach will ensure:
