VinFast teams up with Jiga to expand its service network
Top Gear Philippines, 7 Apr '25
VinFast Philippines has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jiga, an automotive service chain operated by MGA.414, to enhance and expand its aftersales service capabilities in the country.
Under the agreement, designated Jiga locations will become official service centres for VinFast vehicles.
Originating from Vietnam, VinFast aims to establish 100 service centres across the Philippines by the end of 2025, with Jiga expected to contribute a significant number of these facilities.
These centres will be fully equipped to handle all aftersales requirements of VinFast customers, including repairs, scheduled maintenance, and services tailored to the brandÂ’s electric vehicle (EV) portfolio.
VinFast Philippines currently offers battery leasing programmes for its EVs, which serve to lower the initial purchase price while providing more favourable warranty terms and flexible ownership options.
The upcoming service centres are expected to support the battery leasing model, in addition to providing routine maintenance. Selected Jiga locations will also stock genuine VinFast parts, ensuring easier access to quality replacements.
Jiga currently operates service outlets in Metro Manila and key urban areas across the Visayas.
These strategic locations will assist VinFast in broadening its footprint across the country.
At present, the Vietnamese manufacturer operates nine dealerships in the Philippines, the majority of which are situated in Luzon. Two locations in the Visayas are already in operation, aligning well with Jiga's regional presence.
