Tenneco, Tata deepen partnership with US$ 100 million commitment

Tata Technologies and Tenneco, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of mobility products for original equipment and aftermarket customers, have expanded their global partnership, with plans to increase operations from India.
The two companies formalised the expanded agreement during a signing ceremony held on June 30th at Bombay House in Mumbai, the headquarters of the Tata Group. Jon Bagrosky, Chief Administrative Officer at Tenneco, and Warren Harris, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Technologies, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations. The agreement includes Tenneco's planned investment of more than US$ 100 million in the engagement over the next five years.
Bagrosky stated that the expanded partnership builds on the existing relationship between the two companies and reflects the continued importance of India for Tenneco's operations. He added that the move is intended to support customer requirements and address changing market conditions.
Harris said that the expanded engagement reflects the ongoing relationship between the two companies. He added that Tata Technologies plans to utilise its engineering, digital and business transformation capabilities to support Tenneco's global growth plans.
The partnership dates back to 2021 and has expanded to support Tenneco's engineering and business transformation activities. It is centred on Tata Technologies' Global Engineering Center in Pune, which uses technical resources, digital tools and AI-enabled systems for product development and operational activities across Tenneco's global operations.
Tata Technologies is a product engineering and digital services company that works with OEMs and enterprises across the automotive, aerospace and industrial machinery sectors, among others. Tenneco operates through its DRiV, Performance Solutions, Clean Air, Powertrain and Champion business groups, serving light vehicle, commercial truck, off-highway, industrial, motorsport and aftermarket customers worldwide.
