Omoda & Jaecoo plans to begin production and launch the all-new O4 EV in November in Indonesia.
The model will be assembled at two facilities in West Java. Its official price will be announced at the launch following a market survey conducted in Indonesia.
Shawn Xu, Vice President of Chery International and Chief Executive Officer of Omoda & Jaecoo Global, confirmed the production and launch schedule in Wuhu, China, on October 19th, 2026. He said the survey had indicated a positive response to the Omoda O4 among Indonesian consumers.
"We will produce it in November and start launching it to consumers," Shawn said.
The company has not yet disclosed the Omoda O4's official price. Shawn said the model would be priced competitively in Indonesia, with the final pricing details to be announced at the launch event.
"We will announce the price in November, along with the launch. We will invite all of you (the media) to witness the launch and pricing live," Shawn said.
The Omoda O4 will be assembled at two facilities operated by Omoda & Jaecoo in Indonesia: the Handal plants in Bekasi and Purwakarta, West Java.
Production at both locations is intended to support vehicle supply and distribution to customers.
The company presented the model to prospective customers at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The Omoda O4 has since entered the pre-order stage in Indonesia, ahead of the planned start of production and its official launch in November 2026.
