New-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire prices hiked for the first time

Maruti Suzuki has revised the prices of the new-generation Dzire for the first time since its launch. Prices have been increased by up to Rs. 10,000 (US$ 115).
Prices of the LXi MT, VXi MT, VXi CNG, ZXi CNG and ZXi+ AMT have gone up by Rs. 5,000, while those of the VXi AMT and ZXi AMT variants have increased by Rs. 10,000.
The fourth-generation Dzire was launched in November last year. The popular compact sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 82 PS and 112 Nm. It is paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT.
The Dzire is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. In CNG mode, the 1.2-litre engine delivers 70 PS, 5,700 rpm and 102 Nm, 2,900 rpm. The CNG version is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
