The 2024 Modenas Kriss 110 is to be relaunched in Malaysia with new branding and logo.
There are two model variants: the Kriss 110 with drum brakes, priced at MYR 4,599 (US$ 1,000), and the front disc brake-equipped model at MYR 4,998, with pricing excluding road tax, insurance, and registration.
For 2024, the Kriss 110 features a single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that now meets Euro 4 emissions standards and is equipped with EFI (electronic fuel injection). No power figures were provided for the Kriss 110, but based on the previous model Kriss with a carburettor, it is expected to have 6.7 PS at 8,000 rpm and 6.7 Nm of torque as an indication.
The engine displaces 108 cc and is paired with a four-speed rotary gearbox with a centrifugal clutch and chain final drive. Additionally, the cast alloy wheels have been upgraded, with the tyres now being tubeless rather than the previous tube and spoked wheels.
Wheel sizing remains the same at 17 inches, shod with 70/90 front and 80/90 rear tyres, used on both variants of the Kriss 110. The suspension consists of telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the rear.
The Kriss 110 features a multi-reflector headlight, a USB charging port under the seat, and an instrument panel with a gear indicator. The tank holds 4.2 litres of fuel, while the weight is listed as 101 kg and the seat height is set at 750 mm.
