Ducati Multistrada V4 RS launched locally

Ducati Indonesia has now launched the Multistrada V4 RS at ICE BSD recently.
This adventure motorcycle, which is focused on racing is priced at IDR 1.32 billion (US$ 84,480) OTR Jakarta.
Ducati Indonesia chief executive officer (CEO), Jimmy Budhijanto said that the Multistrada V4 RS is suitable for riders who have an adventurous spirit but also want a multi-purpose vehicle for daily and recreational use.
"Powered by the Panigale V4-derived Desmosedici Stradale engine, the Multistrada V4 RS is the epitome of when Superbike meets Touring," said Jimmy at the launch.
Ducati's new bike allows riders to enjoy a unique riding experience. The Multistrada is tall but can be used on the circuit and is capable of devouring uneven roads.
In terms of appearance, the Multistrada V4 RS is similar to the regular one. But the difference is in the rear which uses a titanium sub-frame and a body that has a sportier design.
Other components such as the fender, windshield, hand guard, use carbon fibre material. Overall, the Multistrada V4 RS is seven kilogrammes lighter than the standard one.
The ergonomics have also been revised to suit the sportier style of the bike. The handlebars are shorter and lower, the footrests are set higher and back, giving an aggressive seating position.
Another unique thing is that in the triple clamp section, there is a production number, different from the regular Multistrada.
It is mentioned that the Multistrada V4 RS is not a limited motorcycle, but is sold less. For 2024, Ducati Indonesia imported only five units. Reportedly, four Multistrada V4 RS have been sold.
