The Lynk & Co 900, the brand's largest model to date, has been introduced in Vietnam, marking the flagship SUV's entry into the full-size premium segment and reflecting the growing emphasis in Chinese luxury SUVs on technology and rear-seat comfort.
It is offered in a single variant priced at VND 3.069 billion (US$ 116,600) and comes with a six-year or 175,000 km warranty, while the hybrid battery is covered for eight years or 200,000 km. In terms of dimensions, the Lynk & Co 900 measures 5,240 mm long, 1,999 mm wide and 1,810 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. These figures place it firmly in the full-size SUV segment. Ground clearance stands at 194mm, while 21-inch alloy wheels are fitted with 275/45R21 tyres.
The exterior adopts a bold, squared-off design. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED tail lights. Other notable features include a panoramic sunroof, soft-close doors, flush door handles and a split active rear spoiler.
Inside, the cabin uses a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The leather-wrapped steering wheel incorporates touch controls and a heating function. The front seats are electrically adjustable and come with ventilation, massage and heating functions.
The second row is one of the highlights, offering electrically operated 180-degree rotating seats along with ventilation, massage, heating and leg rests. Even the third row receives electric adjustment, massage and heating functions.
A key focal point of the cabin is its expansive display set-up. The vehicle features a 30-inch 6K central display alongside a 30-inch 6K roof-mounted rear entertainment screen. The infotainment system runs on Lynk Flyme Auto.
The Harman Kardon Performance audio system consists of 31 speakers delivering a combined output of 2,460W and supports Dolby Atmos technology. USB-C ports are available across all three seating rows, alongside a 220V power outlet.
Power comes from a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 2.0TD VEP4 four-cylinder petrol engine with two electric motors. The petrol engine produces 239 PS and 350Nm of torque, while the front electric motor generates 167 PS and the rear motor produces 312 PS.
Combined system output is rated at 718 PS with 1,038Nm of torque. The vehicle uses a 3DHT-Pro transmission and an electronic all-wheel-drive (E-AWD) system. According to official figures, the Lynk & Co 900 accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210km/h.
A 50kWh ternary lithium battery enables an electric-only range of up to 170km under the NEDC cycle. Total combined driving range is claimed to reach 1,000km, while combined fuel consumption is rated at 1.5 litres per 100km.
The SUV also supports 6.6kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output and can recharge its battery from 20% to 80% in around 17 minutes using DC fast charging. The chassis features double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link rear suspension setup. It is also equipped with continuously variable dampers and a dual-chamber air suspension system.
Drivers can choose between Smart Hybrid, Pure EV, Performance, Snow and Off-road driving modes. For advanced driver assistance technologies, the Lynk & Co 900 uses the NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-X computing platform. Hardware includes two front cameras, one rear camera, four side cameras, four surround-view cameras, one lidar sensor, one front millimetre-wave radar, four side millimetre-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
Its ADAS suite includes adaptive cruise control with full-speed operation, speed limit assistance, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, lane change assistance, blind spot monitoring, door opening warning, front and rear cross-traffic alerts, collision avoidance assistance and highway driving assistance.
In addition to these active safety systems, the Lynk & Co 900 is equipped with airbags covering all three rows, completing the safety package of the brand's flagship SUV.
